The Studley Road vet teams have been caring for Luton’s pets for over 50 years and it has been a privilege to get to know so many local pet owners and their pets.
Like so many business across the country, COVID-19 has had a big impact on the practice. It has been challenging to provide the best urgent and emergency vet cover for our clients whilst maintaining a safe working environment for our clients, their pets and our practice colleagues.
It is therefore with regret that we have taken the decision to permanently close Studley Road. Our last day of business will be on Friday 30th July 2021, closing at 6.00pm.
What this means for our clients
We appreciate that many clients will be disappointed after many years of service here in Studley Road. We are pleased to confirm that client accounts with pet’ clinical histories will be transferred to the secure database of our sister practice – Great Ashby Veterinary Hospital in Stevenage (part of the Roebuck Veterinary Group), who have supported us over the last 18 months.
The hospital is approximately 25 minutes’ drive from Studley Road and by transferring our records here, this enables us to continue to give care to our clients’ pets, without interruptions or delay. Some clients may have visited the hospital and met the team during the pandemic.
Great Ashby Veterinary Hospital is open seven days a week for longer hours with greater availability of appointments, superior facilities, disabled access and better parking. The team look forward to welcoming clients and their pets from Studley Road.
